Hello,

I’m Dr. Mily Gonzalez, D.M.D.

Born and raised in Havana, Cuba, Dr. Gonzalez moved to the United States in 2012 with her family. She began her undergraduate pathway at the Miami Dade Honors College in Little Havana, where she completed two years for her Associate of Arts in Biology. In 2015, she transferred to the University of Pennsylvania School of Arts and Sciences, majoring in Biology and Classical Studies. Dr. Mily graduated from Penn in 2018 with her Bachelor of Arts, before returning to Philadelphia one year later for her Dental Medicine degree.

A little about me

While At

She gained experience in a multi-specialty and interdisciplinary care environment working with a broad spectrum of the population, ranging from healthy young patients to medically complex, and special needs individuals. In the Care Center for Persons with Disabilities, she worked alongside an interdisciplinary dental faculty to provide comprehensive dental care to medically complex and special needs patients, including those suffering from autism, Alzheimer’s, paralysis, movement disorders, bleeding and lung disorders, cancer, and infectious diseases. Similarly, as part of the Vulnerable Populations Honors Program, she provided personalized care to patients whose social, emotional, or health histories required additional interpretation and support for treatment planning, treatment accommodations, and care delivery. In addition, after restoring multiple implants while at PDM, she is very interested in furthering her education in implant placement, especially after her exposure to implant placement through the Ditron ProSmile’s “Beginner implant placer” hands-on course. Her surgical interest was further nourished in the Advanced Periodontal Surgical hands-on course at PDM that included guided tissue regeneration, distal wedge procedure, free gingival and connective tissue grafts, and osseous surgery.

Dentistry, for her, however, goes beyond teeth. It's about connections, smiles, and making a positive impact in people's lives. Her fascination with dental implants and advanced periodontal surgery isn't just about the procedures but about restoring confidence and quality of life to her patients. Her time at Penn taught me the importance of empathy, understanding, and tailored care—a philosophy she carries into her practice every day.

After penn…

After graduating with her Doctorate in Dental Medicine, Dr Gonzalez returned to her home state of Florida to continue serving its community. She considers herself a patient-centered, compassionate clinician who focuses on providing comprehensive restorative and specialty care to all family members. She wants her patients to know that when they walk through her doors, they're not just stepping into a clinic—they're joining a community where they're cared for, listened to, and treated with the utmost respect and professionalism.
